Entry Requirements for Medicine and Health care

  • UKCAT – The full form of the test is - UK Clinical Aptitude Test. This is conducted by the UK medical universities, based on how they offer admission to the candidates. 
  • BMAT – The Biomedical Admission Test is an exclusive entrance exam mainly used by 7 medical schools to grant admission to prospective candidates. 
  • GAMSAT – This is the biggest entrance examination. The Common entrance exam is applicable for getting all medical courses, including MBBS.


There are certain additional requirements which are applied to the foreign students –


  • The students should have a minimum of 85% aggregate in the 12th level.
  • They should have taken the BMAT (Biomedical Aptitude Test) or UKCAT (UK Clinical Aptitude Test).
  • They should have also done their 10th and 12th from the Science domain.
